Tocador Clásico - 8 Drawer Double Dresser
The Tocador clásico (classic dresser) is the A.M. foray into bedroom decor. A towering 60 inch tall 60 inch wide dresser that is hand crafted from authentic hardwood. This dresser is an instant heirloom you will be proud to have in your family. We took a simple design and elevated the traditional features in elegant fashion. This hardwood dresser features routed roman ogee decorative trim all along the top and bottom of the dresser. The drawer panels also have routed edging along the entire edge. Crafted curved feet support the entire drawer with sweeping cuts miter jointed to produce a beautiful waterfall grain pattern. The drawer boxes are luxuriously oversized and made from solid poplar wood with fabulous grain pattern on full display. The entire drawer is box is completed with a massive wood back panel not typical for dressers or chest, most lesser drawer back panels are made from cardboard or engineered material, but we wouldn’t dare compromise on build quality. The drawer hardware includes full extension ball bearing drawer slides and satin nickel finished cup pulls. This drawer is a masterpiece. A vintage style dresser in combination with the best of modern engineering, hand crafted for loyal service for generations to come.
The dresser shown here is handcrafted from authentic cherry wood with cognac stain. The drawers boxes and supporting panels are made from poplar. The dresser we make for you can be made from any wood species you prefer, and/or stain of your choosing, just contact us on our custom order page. Castor wheels are also optional and recommended. All the hardwood on the Tocador Clásico is hand sanded and finished in a semi-gloss natural Danish oil varnish, with additional coatings of gel urethane for added protection.
