牖 Accent Table
The 牖 Collection ( pronounced yǒu) is a ode to Chinese design. This accent table will pair perfectly with the other pieces of the collection, but on its own is a striking statement on adventurous decor. 牖 (yǒu) translates to windows, and windows in general have a positive connotation. An open windows can mean opportunity. Windows also allow light and air to flow. Windows allow a view and new perspectives. We hope this design brings these elements of light and levity, positivity and amusement.
This accent table is rectangular featuring a table top that is simply supported on each side creating a square profile. Each table leg/end is uniquely cut creating random window profiles through out, no two tables will be the same. The table top has a recessed top with a centered cutaway pattern. A nested clear glass top sits level with the table for a clear view of the cutaways. The table is constructed from Walnut. The side legs have two levelers each for leveling on uneven floors. The glass top is tempered for safety in the event of a break. This table is build to last generations and can be build to order if out of stock. The 牖 Accent Table can also be ordered in custom sizes and custom wood species, just get in touch and we’ll make it happen.
All the walnut wood on the 牖 Accent Table is hand sanded and finished in a semi-gloss medium dark Danish oil varnish.
